Terms & Conditions

  • All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of the deposit, and at the quoted tariffs
  • Arrival time is from 1.00 pm
  • Rooms must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure
  • Julius Lodge cannot accept responsibility for loss of guests’ property. Guest are advise to obtain travelling insurance
  • Accounts must be paid in full on arrival.  Cheques will only be accepted if prior arrangements have been made with the proprietor to allow for bank clearance
  • Our cancellation policy is 72 hours in advance.  Any cancellation will attract 20% administrative charges of the total charges
  • We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered/interfered with any  fire detection  equipment throughout the lodge, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers
  • In the event of any cancellation or curtailment, and should the accommodations not be re-let, the person who made this reservation with this establishment and whose name appears on the booking form will be liable to pay for the total cost of the reservation
  • Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances, but will be deductible from any claim for compensation arising out of cancellation or curtailment of the contract
  • We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the lodge property or structure. Should this damage come to light after guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address
  • If the deposit has been paid using a credit or debit card authorised account number, then any payment due owing to cancellation, curtailment or damage will also be made on this same account number by the Julius Lodge.  The card holder will be notified of any such transaction.
  • Julius Lodge reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part to that contract cause any detriment to the hotel or to the well being or comfort of other guests
  • Surcharges may be applicable for one night’s stay
  • Julius Lodge cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of vehicles
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Switch and cash payments. Please note a 2.5% surcharge applies to payments by credit card while debit card payment attract no charges
  • Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the premises
  • Party is not allowed anywhere within the premises
